Fees & Insurance
Private medical insurance
I am fee assured with major UK private medical insurance providers, which means my consultation and procedure fees are within the limits recognised by insurers.
If you intend to use private medical insurance, please contact your insurer prior to your appointment to obtain authorisation for your consultation and any investigations that may be required.
Please bring your insurance details and authorisation number to your appointment.
Self-pay patients
Patients who wish to self-fund their care are welcome and do not necessarily require private medical insurance.
Self-pay consultation fees are:
- Initial consultation: £300
- Follow-up consultation: £150
Fees for investigations such as MRI scans, X-rays, or other tests, as well as hospital fees, are charged separately by the hospital.
GP referrals
Many patients are referred by their GP, physiotherapist, or another specialist. If you have any previous scans, reports, or clinic letters, please bring them to your appointment.
Self-pay patients may book directly but may find it helpful to have a referral letter summarising their symptoms and previous treatment.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
If you are using private medical insurance, it is important to confirm the level of cover with your insurer before your appointment, as policies and excess arrangements may vary.
